Walk This Way...

Another section is ready for cement. I don't think either Rusty or I realized how much cement goes into a house. Seems like the cement guy has been working for nearly two weeks.
As we think about winter and shoveling snow, we're delighted to have a short driveway and not too much sidewalk.

The back of our house faces a city-owned green space, which may, or may not, be developed into a park. Right now it's pretty wild and has plenty of red-winged blackbirds. Beyond the green space is a very busy 14th Street, which is soon to have a bike path adjacent to it. Should be easy access for us, huh?

The trim guys have framed in all the doors and are now working on cabinet installation.
